Description: I spent about a week towards the end of fall 2019 canvasing local creeks looking for an intimate shot. I knew that by that at that time most of the leaves would have fallen down and would make a normally somewhat dull creek alive with color. I checked out Peterson Creek, Tranquille Creek, McGillivray Creek, etc. To my surprise, the best fall colors were at Heffley Creek. I managed to find this composition. To me, this photo shows that there are amazing nature photography opportunities right here in Kamloops. You just have to take the time to look.
